The Downtown Fort Lauderdale Civic Association (DFLCA) is a community group consisting of local residents who volunteer their time and energy to provide the community’s voice to the city and county government, organize events in the neighborhood, and is a valuable source of information for its residents. DFLCA provides a forum for civic-minded residents to present and discuss issues that have an impact on our quality of life – issues such as safety and security, growth of downtown, protection of historic sites and grants for neighborhood improvements. We advocate to our public officials on behalf of our members and maintain a cooperative relationship with other local civic associations.
Be sure to look over our Coming Events  calendar highlighting various happenings around the downtown area. Review some of our corporate members – businesses and people you likely already know. Please support our advertisers; these are the businesses that help to keep this site and our organization lively and effective.
Finally, consider joining us! Membership is inexpensive and a great value (just $15 annually for individual resident member). Applying for membership is simple. Just complete the membership form. Become a part of this vibrant group of like-minded residents and make a difference in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
